Job summary

A leading engineering consultancy seeks an experienced CAD Technician to produce AutoCAD drawings for various projects, including transport and renewable projects. The role allows for remote work but requires access to Edinburgh for team meetings. Candidates should have considerable experience in CAD work and a solid understanding of vehicle tracking. This position is ideal for someone with strong communication skills and the ability to work independently, as you will manage your workload effectively while meeting client specifications.

Qualifications

• Considerable experience in a consultancy environment with AutoCAD and Vehicle Tracking.
• Background in Transport Planning or Roads Engineering preferred.
• Min 3 years experience using Civil 3D required.

Responsibilities

• Implement project requirements to meet client specifications.
• Prepare discipline designs, drawings, and schedules.
• Assist other CAD Technicians ensuring drawings meet deadlines.

Skills

Excellent communication skills

Ability to work independently from home

Use of AutoCAD

Experience in Vehicle Tracking

Full Driving License
