Job summary

A tech solutions company is seeking a Mid–Senior AWS Engineer to rebuild a core platform focusing on scalability and performance. This role requires strong experience with AWS methodologies, particularly serverless architectures, AWS Lambda, and DynamoDB. The candidate will design backend services, implement Infrastructure as Code with Terraform, and collaborate closely with engineering leadership. A background in backend engineering with solid database understanding is essential. This fully remote position offers a salary between £50,000 and £60,000.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with AWS, particularly serverless architectures.
• Hands-on experience with AWS Lambda and DynamoDB.
• Proven use of Terraform (or strong IaC experience).
• Solid backend engineering experience.
• Strong understanding of databases and data modelling.
• Ability to work independently and pick things up quickly.
