Job summary

Actian is seeking an AI Enablement Lead to architect and scale our AI enablement strategy across the Actian Data Intelligence Platform. You will build foundational platforms, tooling, and frameworks that empower product and engineering teams to deploy AI safely, rapidly, and at scale.

You will establish LLMOps governance, optimize costs and latency, lead cross-functional upskilling, and drive PoCs to production with production-grade code.

Qualifications

• Senior AI/ML Engineer or similar with enterprise SaaS or data platforms.
• Strong Python or Go development expertise.
• Experience with semantic search and vector DBs.
• Familiar with orchestration frameworks (LangChain, LlamaIndex).
• Knowledge of LLMs, fine-tuning or prompt engineering.
• Proactive ownership and ability to lead without direct authority.
• Excellent English communication.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain AI orchestration layers and reusable frameworks.
• Embed AI features into Actian Data Intelligence Platform.
• Establish guardrails, evaluation and monitoring tools for models.
• Optimize cloud compute spend and latency.
• Lead upskilling workshops and create documentation.
• Drive PoC to production for AI projects.
• Standardize the AI tech stack and tooling.
• Manage vendor and open-source strategy.
• Define metrics to track AI enablement impact.
