Job description

Join our friendly staff team at Creative Support in Grimsby as a Support Worker. In this role, you will support adults with learning disabilities in their daily lives. Every day is unique here, where our service users enjoy activities like ice skating and dancing at local discos.

In this rewarding role, you will provide excellent care and support to individuals with learning disabilities, challenging behaviour and non‑verbal communication requirements. You will encourage service users to engage in various exciting social activities both within and outside their homes. Developing warm and trusting relationships with service users and their families is essential, enabling them to fully enjoy their time at the service. Additionally, you will be responsible for administering and monitoring prescribed medication to service users.

We offer full and part‑time hours, including weekend work and bank holidays. The service has excellent public transport links. As a Creative Support Bank Staff member, you will have access to our free app, which allows you to pick up shifts in any area of the country and provides information on the service, including directions. You will be paid weekly. Twelve months previous care experience is necessary for this role.
