About the role

As a Relief Pharmacist with us, you’ll be providing excellent customer and patient care. It’s more than dispensing medicine; it’s listening, providing expert advice, and reassurance. You won't be based at one pharmacy but will provide service across multiple locations. Your main responsibilities will include:

  1. Delivering the pharmacy strategy through expert care and advice
  2. Being accountable for legal and ethical decisions in the pharmacy
  3. Building the pharmacy capability of store teams
  4. Conducting reviews through audits, observations, and risk assessments to ensure safety
  5. Providing a range of professional pharmacy services
What you’ll need to have

To succeed in this role, you should have a professional, caring character and a genuine desire to improve. Additionally, you will:

  • Be registered with the relevant pharmacy regulator (GPhC, PSNI, PSI)
  • Demonstrate high professional expertise and be respected by stakeholders, peers, patients, and external professionals
  • Have a passion for community pharmacy and excellent patient care
  • Be collaborative with a team-centered approach
  • Have strong knowledge of pharmacy operations and local/national services
  • Be an effective communicator, able to put people at ease and meet diverse needs
