Job summary

Break Charity is seeking a flexible Children’s Relief Support Worker in King’s Lynn, delivering care and support to children in care. You will choose shifts that fit your availability, including evenings and weekends, while contributing to a safe, nurturing environment.

The role requires a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare within 24 months (fully funded by Break) and a full UK driving licence is preferred.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare within 24 months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide flexible relief shifts for children and young people in care.
• Offer dedicated care and therapeutic support within Break’s solo children’s homes.
• Help young people build confidence, trust, and independence through patient, empathetic guidance.
• Work with Break’s therapeutic services and supportive team to create a nurturing environment.
• Encourage participation in activities and new experiences to support wellbeing.
