Job summary

Break Charity is seeking a Children’s Residential Mobile Support Worker to deliver flexible care across community and residential settings in Norfolk. You will support young people aged 5–25, providing shift cover and building strong relationships with colleagues and professionals.

The role requires a full UK driving licence and a commitment to completing a Diploma Level 3 in Residential Childcare within 24 months, funded by Break. DBS checks are enhanced and OFSTED compliance applies.

Qualifications

• Full, valid UK driving licence is required.
• Willingness to complete Diploma Level 3 in Residential Childcare within 24 months (funded by Break).
• DBS check will be required (enhanced).

Responsibilities

• Work across Break’s mobile and residential services in Norfolk.
• Provide consistent care for young people aged 5–25 in various settings.
• Cover shifts and support across Staying Close, Staying Connected and disability short break centre.
• Build strong relationships with professionals and children across services.
