Job summary

Break Charity is seeking a Relief Children’s Residential Support Worker in Mundesley to provide hands-on care for young people in a home setting. You will work as part of a dedicated team and support residents through day-to-day activities, with emphasis on safety, wellbeing and development.

The role involves evenings and weekends on an as‑needed basis, with sleep-in duties paid separately. Full training, DBS and funded diploma progression are provided. A full UK driving licence is required.

Qualifications

• Must complete Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare within 24 months (fully funded).
• Full, valid, manual driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Support young people in residential care with daily living.
• Build trusting relationships and act as a positive role model.
• Work as part of a small team to manage challenging situations.
