Job summary

Break Charity is seeking a flexible Relief Support Worker to join its children's homes in Chevington. You will work bank/relief shifts including evenings and weekends, with regular sleep-in duties paid at £64.95 per night.

A full UK driving licence is preferred and a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare must be completed within 24 months; Break will fund the qualification. You will support young people who have experienced trauma, provide safe, consistent care, and work with Break's

Qualifications

• Complete Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare within 24 months; Break will fund the qualification.
• Enhanced DBS check is required for the role.
• Full UK driving licence preferred for this role.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualised support to children in care, promoting safety and wellbeing.
• Be a positive role model, building trustful relationships with young people.
• Collaborate with Break's therapeutic services and staff to support outcomes.
• Encourage participation in activities to develop confidence and independence.
