Break Charity in Chevington, Suffolk is hiring a flexible Children’s Relief Support Worker to cover bank/relief shifts including evenings and weekends. You’ll support children and young people in care, with trauma-informed care and a nurturing environment, earning £12.74-£12.95 per hour plus nightly sleep-in pay.

You’ll be encouraged to complete a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare within 24 months, with Break funding the qualification.

Qualifications

• Willing to complete Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare within 24 months.
• UK driving licence preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide care and support to children and young people in care, including those with trauma.
• Support daily activities, safety, and personal development in a therapeutic environment.
• Assist in creating a nurturing, consistent routine and respond to individual needs.
