Qualifications

• HNC/HND qualified in a Mechanical Engineering discipline or time-served apprenticeship with industrial experience.
• Strong experience in fault finding and repair of mechanical systems, including pumps and gearboxes.
• Solid understanding of UK statutory regulations such as PSSR and PUWER.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the upkeep of the Llantrisant Manufacturing Facility for mechanical equipment.
• Conduct preventative maintenance and support service visits.
• Develop and update maintenance procedures ensuring compliance with regulations.

Skills

Fault finding and repair of mechanical systems

Proficiency in using CMMS

Precision fitting and machining

Ability to write clear technical reports

Education

HNC/HND in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
