The Reliability Maintenance Engineering (RME) team at Amazon is essential to keeping vital machinery running at all times. As an RME Technician you will maintain a wide range of equipment and workspaces while upholding Health and Safety best practices. You will help keep your colleagues safe and prevent machine downtime, boosting equipment availability and quality across our fulfillment network.
Based on‑site, you will respond quickly to any machinery issues, carrying out planned preventative maintenance to ensure equipment works safely. You will investigate breakdowns, find solutions swiftly, and suggest long‑term improvements. Working alongside senior colleagues, you will undertake day‑to‑day maintenance tasks such as painting and plumbing, liaising with contractors when needed, and working shifts to support sites around the clock.
The RME team keeps equipment performing at its best, working together to maintain, troubleshoot and repair equipment across our global network of fulfillment centres. Opportunities for progression exist both within the RME team and more widely across Amazon, with work often during early or late hours to minimise disruption.
Relevant engineering experience and a minimum of NVQ Level 3 in a relevant Engineering subject.
Hospital Experience, Hotel Experience, Taleo, Calibration, Pool Maintenance, Maintenance Management, Maintenance, Quality Control, Boiler, Oil & Gas Experience, Programmable Logic Controllers, Supervising Experience.
