About the Role
As a Reliability Engineer at Weetabix, you'll play a key role in protecting and improving our asset care strategy. You'll work closely with production facilities, capital projects, and maintenance teams to boost equipment performance and elevate maintenance programs.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with operations and maintenance teams to ensure consistent adherence to maintenance programs and practices across all facilities.
- Act as the subject‑matter authority for the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS), ensuring effective use, data integrity, and continuous improvement.
- Support capital and non‑capital projects by embedding reliability fundamentals throughout.
- Champion the Early Equipment Management (EEM) process to drive robust design, smooth commissioning, and long‑term asset performance.
- Lead the development and implementation of Criticality Assessments and Risk‑Based Maintenance evaluations to maximise asset performance and mitigate operational risks.
- Collaborate with manufacturing and support teams to guide and facilitate Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for recurring technical failures and breakdowns.
- Identify and lead Value Optimisation projects that enhance asset performance, reduce costs, and improve operational efficiency through data‑driven insights.
Qualifications
- Experience with infrastructure projects, particularly in civil works.
- Strong understanding of reliability engineering principles.
- Proficiency in CMMS usage and data management.
- Ability to lead cross‑functional projects and drive process improvements.
