Job summary

Vanilla Recruitment (UK) Ltd is recruiting an Internal Sales Executive for a Shepshed-based role near Loughborough. The role blends customer service, account management and sales administration to help customers find the right solutions.

The position offers £28,000–£30,000 per annum, Monday to Friday, 9am–5:30pm, with 23 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays, free on-site parking and an employee discount & benefits scheme. An office-based role supporting a friendly team.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in an Internal Sales Executive, account management or customer-focused sales role.
• Proven track record of making outbound sales calls and developing customer relationships.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong customer service skills with a positive and solution-focused approach.
• Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and Outlook.
• Experience using a CRM system would be advantageous.
• Well-organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work within a team.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound sales enquiries, identify customer requirements and convert opportunities into sales.
• Manage customer enquiries via telephone, email and the shared sales inbox.
• Prepare, issue and follow up quotations to maximise sales opportunities.
• Make outbound calls to existing and prospective customers to build relationships and promote products.
• Process customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring a smooth customer journey.
• Maintain accurate customer records using the company CRM system.
• Collaborate with colleagues across the business.
