Job summary

Propel Consult is seeking an Internal Sales Executive to join a busy Shepshed-based team. The role blends customer service, account management and sales administration, ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships and helping customers find the right solutions.

You will handle inbound inquiries, issue quotations, and follow up opportunities while developing existing accounts and promoting products. Office-based in Shepshed, with a supportive team and clear career progression.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in an Internal Sales Executive, account management or customer-focused sales role.
• Proven track record of outbound sales calls and developing customer relationships.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong customer service skills with a positive and solution-focused approach.
• Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and Outlook.
• Experience using a CRM system would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Handling inbound sales enquiries, identifying customer requirements and converting opportunities into sales.
• Managing customer enquiries via telephone, email and the shared sales inbox.
• Preparing, issuing and following up quotations to maximise sales opportunities.
• Making outbound calls to existing and prospective customers to build relationships, develop accounts and promote products and offers.
• Processing customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring a smooth customer journey.
• Maintaining accurate customer records and activity using the company CRM system.
• Collaborating with colleagues across the business.
