Job summary

A leading financial services provider located in Guiseley is seeking a Regulatory Reporting Accountant for a fixed term contract. In this role, you will ensure compliance with financial regulations and deliver accurate reporting to regulators. The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant with strong analytical skills, effective communication abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. The position offers hybrid working with one day per week at the Leeds office.

Are you a qualified Accountant looking for your next opportunity to make a difference? We are looking for a detail-oriented Regulatory Reporting Accountant to join our Finance team on a fixed term contract until 31/05/2026.

This role is critical in ensuring compliance with financial regulations and delivering accurate, timely reporting to regulators and stakeholders.

This role is hybrid - remote working and one day per week in our central Leeds office.

About the role

As Regulatory Reporting Accountant, you will -

  • Prepare and submit regulatory reports in line with statutory deadlines

  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies

  • Collaborate with auditors, regulators, and internal teams to resolve queries

  • Monitor changes in regulatory requirements and assess their impact

  • Support the Finance department with ad-hoc analysis and reporting

  • Maintain accurate documentation and audit trails for all submissions

About you

We're looking for someone who is a qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with strong technical knowledge. You will

  • Be highly analytical with excellent attention to detail

  • Have strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex requirements clearly

  • Be a proactive problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment

  • Be comfortable working with large data sets and financial systems

  • Ideally have experience in Financial Services
