Job Summary

REGULATORY LAWYER, 3 - 5 PQE, LONDON / HYBRID, £55,000 - £65,000. This regulatory body is based in Central London, offering excellent transport links across Greater London. The organisation operates on a hybrid model, only 1–2 days in the office each week. JOB REF : 2056

Responsibilities & Qualifications
  • The appointed lawyer will oversee fitness to practise cases handled by external Legal Providers, ensuring investigations are timely, fair, and of high quality.
  • You will lead and mentor a small team of paralegals, providing guidance to External Legal Providers on evidence, strategy, and procedural matters throughout case development and hearings.
  • Act as the main point of contact for External Legal Providers, monitoring casework, data, and performance to address issues or elevate when needed.
  • Applications are welcomed from candidates with at least 3–5 years’ post-qualification experience as a solicitor, barrister, or CILEX lawyer, who have experience managing complex caseloads, conducting investigations, gathering evidence, and preparing cases for hearings.
  • This role requires extensive knowledge of UK regulatory and healthcare law, rules of evidence, and the ability to make sound, evidence based decision.
