The role involves diverse responsibilities, including clinical work, client support, and mentoring student nurses. Candidates should be qualified RVNs who thrive in a supportive environment focused on high standards of care and personal development. We\'re looking for a passionate and proactive Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our growing team of over 20 nurses at Wheelhouse Vets. This is a full-time role (40 hours per week) across 4.5 days (Monday to Friday), with Saturdays on a 1 in 5 rota.
You\'ll be part of a modern, forward-thinking, and well-resourced group of practices committed to high clinical standards and genuine personal development.
You\'ll be involved in all aspects of small animal nursing - from consults and client support to hands-on clinical work, including wound management, radiography, and emergency and critical care. You\'ll also contribute to a wide range of nurse clinics and have the chance to shape how we deliver these services.
You\'ll work closely with our multidisciplinary team and benefit from a structured support system, regular team meetings, and guidance from our Nurse Leadership Team.
Being a clinical coach (or willing to train as one) is essential, as you\'ll help mentor and support our student nurses.
