Job summary

Jupiter Recruitment is assisting a care home in Congleton, Cheshire, to recruit a Registered Nurse. You will provide high-quality dementia and residential care, administering medications and building care plans in collaboration with families and professionals.

The role requires an active NMC PIN and offers day and night shifts with a competitive hourly rate. Comprehensive induction, career development and generous benefits are included.

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Nurse with a current active NMC Pin.
• Experience in a care home or dementia care is preferred.
• Strong teamwork and time management skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Accurately assess residents' needs and identify priorities of care.
• Administer medications and treatments in line with NMC guidelines and policy.
• Ensure care plans are completed and maintained with residents, relatives and other health professionals.
• Report ill-health and arrange GP/professional visits when necessary.

**To be considered for this position you must be qualified as a Registered Nurse with a current active NMC Pin**

As a Nurse your key duties include:

• Accurately assess the needs of residents and identify priorities of care
• Administer all medication and treatments within the NMC guidelines and company medication policy
• Ensure that residents care plans are completed and maintained in conjunction with residents, relatives and other health care professionals
• Report any ill-health amongst residents and make request for GP/professional visit where necessary

The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:

• Proven experience of working in a care setting
• A good team player
• Well-developed time management and leadership skills
• Able to show a can-do attitude always
