Job summary

A leading care provider in Wales seeks Registered Mental Health Nurses and Registered General Nurses with current NMC registration. Candidates must demonstrate effective communication, the ability to manage high-risk situations, and skills in supervising junior staff. A minimum of twelve months registration and six months experience within a multi-disciplinary team is essential. Competence in PMVA training and basic life support is required.

Registered Mental Health Nurse / Registered General Nurse

Procare Nursing Agency Ltd is a well-established care provider throughout Wales.

We are looking for Registered Mental Health Nurses and Registered General Nurses holding a current NMC registration.

Candidates must be able to:

Apply the Care Programme Approach and deal with difficult and high- risk situations (when in Mental Health settings). Having effective communication skills and interpersonal skills is essential, and candidates must be able to promote an atmosphere of dignity and respect with clients and staff. Candidates must be able to prioritise the work load carry out relevant nursing procedures. It is expected that candidates will be competent in the supervision of junior staff and students.

Being well motivated and able to practise autonomously is part of the role. Clear and legible records and documentation in line with NMC guidelines will be required

Candidates must have attended PMVA training within the last twelve months, and be competent in basic life support.

A minimum of twelve months registration with the NMC and six months minimum experience in the field, as part of a multi-disciplinary team is required
