A leading children’s residential care provider is seeking an experienced RMN for a community-based nursing role in the New Forest. The role involves providing therapeutic assessments and interventions for children up to 18 years old with complex histories. Candidates should have a registered nurse's qualification and post-qualification experience in mental health. Based in the beautiful New Forest in Hampshire, New Forest Care (NFC) are a leading provider of children’s residential care and Education services. We have a thriving clinical team, comprised of Clinical and Forensic Psychologists, Psychotherapists, Creative Therapists, Psychiatric Nurses, Occupational Therapists and Speech and Language Therapists. Working with our children, the clinical team are committed to providing high quality clinical services with the aim of improving mental health and wellbeing for the children.
As our team expands, we are looking for an experienced RMN for this community-based nursing role. You will need to be compassionate and skilled at working with children (up to 18 years old). Many of our children have complex attachment histories and may have experienced trauma in their early years.
As part of the role, you will provide therapeutic assessment, formulation and intervention to individual children. You will be working closely with other members of our different teams in both care and education settings. You will help to ensure continuity of care along with maintaining the therapeutic framework around the child. You will need to ensure a consistent and robust support system is in place around the child. You will be welcomed into a very friendly and cohesive clinical team, with the role reporting to the Head of Clinical Services.
