Job summary

SCR is seeking an experienced Registered Manager to lead our children’s residential home, ensuring high standards of care, compliance and outcomes for young people. You will oversee daily operations, safeguarding, and the development of a positive, therapeutic living environment.

The role requires proven management experience in youth residential services, relevant leadership qualifications in line with current standards, and the ability to stay calm under pressure.

Qualifications

• Experience in managing children’s residential services.
• QCF/RQF or ILM leadership qualification or willingness to commence within 3 months.
• Strong knowledge of Children’s Homes National Minimum Standards & The Children’s Act 2010.
• Ability to manage emotionally challenging situations and stay calm under pressure.
