About the Role

Lead a brand new purpose‑built six‑bedroom residential children’s home designed to support Looked After Children with complex behavioural needs. As Registered Manager you will shape the culture, standards and success of the home from day one.

Key Responsibilities
  • Recruit and develop residential staff.
  • Manage care planning and safeguarding procedures.
  • Build strong relationships with children, families and professionals.
  • Ensure the home meets quality standards and delivers positive outcomes.
  • Lead service innovation, continuous improvement and policy development.
  • Chair working groups, supervise and mentor staff.
  • Manage budgets and operational delivery.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (England) and registration with Ofsted.
  • Extensive experience managing residential teams in child care.
  • Strong knowledge of Children’s Homes Regulations 2015, The Children Act, Ofsted inspection framework.
  • Strategic, operational and financial leadership skills.
  • Excellent communication, conflict resolution and resilience.
  • Commitment to inclusive, child‑centred practice.
  • Enhanced DBS check required.
