Are you passionate about transforming young lives and leading with purpose? We’re looking for an experienced and compassionate Registered Manager to take the reins of a children’s residential home, ensuring it is a safe, nurturing, and inspiring place for young people to thrive.

Responsibilities
  • Lead, manage and develop the staff team to deliver high standards of care.
  • Ensure the home is safe, welcoming, and meets all regulatory requirements.
  • Champion the rights and wellbeing of children, making sure their voices influence care planning and daily life.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders, partner agencies and families to achieve the best outcomes.
  • Manage budgets, resources, and ensure effective record-keeping.
  • Drive continuous improvement with a clear focus on achieving Outstanding Ofsted outcomes.
About You / Qualifications
  • You’re an experienced leader in children’s residential care who is both resilient and compassionate. You have a strong understanding of safeguarding, regulations, and the challenges facing young people with diverse needs.
  • Minimum 2 years’ management / deputy experience in a children’s residential setting (within the last 5 years).
  • Preference: Experience working with children with learning disabilities (LD).
  • At least 1 year of staff supervision/line management experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of Children’s Homes Regulations, Quality Standards, and the Ofsted inspection framework.
  • A relevant Level 5 qualification (or willingness to achieve this within 3 years).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
