Job summary

Cambian Group Plc in Widnes is seeking a Registered Manager for our Embrace service to lead a Children's Home and drive high standards of care for looked-after young people.

You will develop comprehensive care plans, build a capable team, and ensure the home is delivering safe, personalised support while meeting Ofsted expectations and regulatory requirements. A clear path for leadership development is provided through our academy and incentive schemes.

Qualifications

• Experience in residential care of children with supervisory responsibility in the last 5 years.
• Knowledge of The Quality Standards, SCCIF, childcare legislation, and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop Comprehensive Care Plans: ensure each young person has a tailored plan addressing care, education and health needs.
• Develop a great team: recruit, induct and develop staff to have familiar faces for the young people.
• Foster Consultation: develop systems to consult young people about the care they receive.
• Allocate Key Workers: assign a Key Worker to each young person to implement the care plan.
• Maintain High Standards: monitor quality of care in line with standards and the Home’s purpose.
• Handle Complaints and Concerns: address complaints and safeguarding concerns.
• Collaborate with Stakeholders: work with parents, carers and professionals to promote welfare.
• Participate in Meetings: contribute to planning and review meetings.
• Embrace a safe culture: ensure high care standards.
• Effective Commercial Management: manage home within budget expectations.
