Job summary

Cambian is hiring a Registered Manager in Tadcaster to lead a four-bedroom children's home and drive high-quality care for young people. You will develop tailored care plans, lead the team, and ensure compliance with safeguarding and regulatory standards.

The role requires driving license, and you will manage electronic care records, supported by induction and leadership development programs through our Leadership Academy.

Qualifications

• Level 3 in Childrenfs Residential Care is essential.
• Level 5 in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare preferred or enrolled within 6 months of starting.

Responsibilities

• Develop Comprehensive Care Plans tailored to each child.
• Build and retain a strong home team through induction and development plans.
• Foster consultation with young people about their care.
• Allocate Key Workers to implement care plans.
• Maintain high standards in line with quality standards and SOPs.
• Handle complaints and safeguarding concerns.
• Collaborate with parents, carers and professionals to promote welfare.
• Attend care planning and review meetings.
• Maintain a safe culture and ensure daily use of digital records.
