Overview

Registered Children's Home Manager (Dual Homes) – Location: Clitheroe, Lancashire

Salary £49,764 - £53,888 per annum • Permanent, Full Time • 37 Hours Per Week

Responsibilities

As part of the Residential Leadership Team, this position involves overseeing the daily operations of two Children's Homes, ensuring they run smoothly and efficiently while maintaining compliance with all relevant regulations and standards. The Dual Registered Manager is responsible for leading and mentoring two teams of Residential Childcare Workers, supported by four Deputy Managers.

The Dual Registered Manager must have a caring and empathetic approach to working with children and staff, the ability to handle challenging situations with patience and professionalism, and a strong sense of ethics and integrity in all aspects of the role.

Qualifications and Experience
  • A passion for working with children and a commitment to their well-being.
  • An QCF5 or NVQ 5 Leadership & Management in Health & Social Care or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in the management of a Children's Home.
  • Experience of working successfully at a managerial level to develop a high performing team.
  • Driving license and access to a vehicle — this is an essential car user post.
