As a Regional Sales Manager you will inspire, develop, and lead a new team of up to 12 Territory Development Executives who call on independent retailers, convenience stores, small‑format grocery outlets, and foodservice customers. Together you will represent the iconic Lucozade Ribena Suntory portfolio, driving sales, visibility and brand passion across your region. You will set the vision, strategy and energy for your team, ensuring they are trained, motivated and equipped to perform at their best every day. You will take ownership of regional sales performance, delivering against ambitious targets across multiple channels and empowering your team to seize every selling opportunity. Your commercial insight and leadership will play a key role in managing budgets, controlling costs and providing valuable business intelligence to support senior management.

Responsibilities

A day in the life of a Regional Sales Manager will include:

  • Demonstrating agility and adaptability in a fast‑paced, multichannel environment, seamlessly shifting priorities to meet evolving business and customer needs.
  • Leading the talent programme – working with our in‑house recruitment team, taking responsibility for regional recruitment, minimizing churn and providing training, development and coaching to empower the team.
  • Managing the team, including performance management.
  • Providing senior management support to the National Sales Manager.
  • Delivering against key sales targets and key performance indicators.
  • Planning and organising regional meetings and cascading communications to the team.
  • Analyzing data from multiple sources to identify opportunities and underlying trends.
What we’re looking for
  • You want a role that expands your people‑management skills, building on your experience in training, developing, motivating and performance‑managing a sales team.
  • You are a great people manager who tailors your management style to get both individuals and teams on board, working together to create a supportive culture.
  • You pride yourself on exceeding client expectations – growing sales is second nature to you.
  • You are commercial and able to manage costs and budgets effectively to ensure objectives and targets are achieved.
  • You see things differently and love coming up with innovative suggestions and solutions.
  • You love working with people and ensuring they reach their full potential.
  • Previous experience in managing a sales team, ideally at an area level.
  • Understanding of retail / FMCG preferred.
  • A full UK driving licence. Happy to drive a manual vehicle.

  • Flexible hours – 37.5 hours Monday to Friday.
  • Generous holiday package.
  • Company car & Oyster card.
  • Company pension scheme – 3% employer contributions.
