Bestway Group is seeking a Business Development Manager to join a fast-paced, commercially driven team in the Suffolk, Norfolk and Cambridgeshire region. The role carries end-to-end account management responsibilities with retailers, enabling growth and profitability across the area.

The ideal candidate brings robust commercial sense, strong relationship skills and a proactive, self-starting attitude to drive sales plans and capital expenditure initiatives while adhering to health and safety

Qualifications

• Understand a P&L and financial information.
• Identify growth opportunities.
• Proficient in Word and Excel.
• Strong presenting and influencing skills.
• Driven self-starter with a proactive mindset.
• Able to prioritise and balance proactive/reactive work.
• Ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Achieve set sales plans and implement strategies to grow area sales.
• Ensure profitability of the area in line with budgets and targets.
• Maximise retailer support for the independent brand.
• Overseeing debt management with support functions.
• Managing capital expenditure proposals and budgets for members.
• Ensure key accounts and members are serviced and supported with tailored support.
• Delivery of business initiatives in line with timescales with ownership and right first-time implementation.
• Identify opportunities for capital expenditure with members and work with development team to improve conversion rate.
• Working knowledge of health and safety legislation and practices.
