Bestway Group is seeking a Business Development Manager to join our fast-paced team, responsible for end-to-end account management of retailers in the M4 Corridor. You will drive sales plans, manage key accounts, and deliver profitable growth within a commercially driven environment.

The ideal candidate will understand P&L, spot growth opportunities, and possess strong PC skills, with outstanding presenting and relationship-building abilities.

Qualifications

• Ability to understand a profit and loss account and commercial information.
• Ability to spot opportunities for growth and development.
• Knowledge of PC applications including Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Outstanding presenting and influencing skills.
• A confident, driven, and enthusiastic self-starter.
• Ability to prioritise and balance proactive and reactive work.
• Ability to build exceptional relationships with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Achieve set sales plans and implement strategies to grow area sales.
• Ensure profitability of the area in line with budgets and targets.
• Maximise retailer support for the independent brand.
• Overseeing the management of debt with support functions.
• Manage capital expenditure proposals and budgets for members.
• Ensure key accounts are serviced with tailored support.
• Deliver business initiatives on time with right first-time implementation.
• Identify opportunities for capital expenditure with members with the development team.
• Work with health and safety legislation and practices.
