Bestway Group invites applications for an Account Manager role in Reading/M4 Corridor to drive end-to-end relationships with retailers in the area. You will own revenue plans, manage budgets, and deliver tailored support to key accounts while ensuring profitability and strong retailer engagement.

The ideal candidate will analyse commercial data, spot growth opportunities, and present effectively to internal teams. A dynamic, proactive self-starter with strong stakeholder skills is sought.

Qualifications

• Understanding of profit and loss and commercial acumen.
• Ability to spot opportunities for growth and development.
• Excellent presenting and influencing skills.
• Strong relationship-building with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to prioritise and balance proactive vs. reactive work.

Responsibilities

• Achieve set sales plans and implement strategies to grow the area sales.
• Ensure profitability of the area in line with budgets and targets.
• Maximise retailer support for the independent brand.
• Oversee debt management in cooperation with support functions.
• Manage capital expenditure proposals and budgets for members.
• Ensure key accounts and members are serviced with tailored support.
• Deliver business initiatives on time with ownership and first-time accuracy.
• Identify opportunities for capital expenditure and development with members.
