Job summary

Bestway Group is seeking an accountable, commercially driven Account Manager to own end-to-end retailer relationships across the Suffolk, Norfolk and Cambridgeshire region. You’ll drive area sales, profitability, and capital expenditure proposals while supporting key accounts with tailored initiatives.

You will build strong internal and external relationships, spot growth opportunities, and deliver initiatives on time with strong adherence to health and safety practices.

Qualifications

• Ability to understand a profit and loss account and commercial information.
• Ability to spot opportunities for growth and development.
• Knowledge of PC applications including Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Outstanding presenting and influencing skills.

Responsibilities

• Achieve set sales plans and grow area sales to targets.
• Ensure profitability of the area in line with budgets and sales mix.
• Maximise retailer support for the independent brand.
• Oversee debt management with support functions.
• Manage capital expenditure proposals and budgets for members.
• Ensure key accounts are serviced with tailored support.
• Deliver business initiatives on time with ownership and quality.
• Identify capital expenditure opportunities with members and the development team.
• Work with health and safety legislation and practices.
