A leading UK animation studio is looking for a passionate and experienced 3D FX Artist. The candidate will work on dynamic simulations such as Water, Fire, and Smoke, requiring strong skills in Houdini and Maya. This role offers an exciting collaborative environment and opportunities for creative problem solving. Open to candidates based regionally in the UK outside of the M25, this position promotes a healthy work-life balance with flexible working options.
We are looking for a passionate, enthusiastic and experienced 3D FX Artist to work on a wide variety of dynamic simulations, someone who is creative, good at problem solving and enjoys teamwork. To be successful you must demonstrate thorough attention to detail, the ability to think outside the box and be super pro‑active and have an autonomous work ethic alongside the ability to quickly integrate and communicate well within a small team.
This role is due to start February 2026. Please note that this vacancy can close early if we receive a high number of applications.
