Job description
Overview

Xylem is a global leader in water technology-designing solutions that keep communities, industries, and cities running. We are now searching for an experienced Regional Marketing Manager to shape our market presence across the Transport business and push forward the next wave of commercial growth. This role suits someone who thrives in fast-moving environments, questions the status quo, and wants to help define how an industry-leading brand engages customers, channel partners, and stakeholders. You will have direct influence over regional marketing strategy, commercial enablement, thought‑leadership positioning, and the rollout of major campaigns and new product launches. If you're motivated by meaningful work, measurable outcomes, and the opportunity to make a dent in the way the water sector communicates, this is a role with rare scope.

What You’ll Lead
  • Own and execute the regional marketing and communications plan‑defining priorities, managing budgets, and steering investments.
  • Monitor and react to KPIs (reach, engagement, lead quality, conversion, customer reach) to keep performance sharp and accountable.
  • Drive the full lead‑generation engine‑from campaign design through to conversion.
  • Roll out central campaigns, new product launches and sales materials that hit the right audience at the right moment.
  • Partner closely with Sales to identify needs and build compelling tools that enhance customer conversations and accelerate growth.
  • Manage all external communications across customers, media, associations, and institutions‑ensuring consistency, clarity, and brand strength.
  • Work in lockstep with central Transport Marketing to bring market insight, competitive intelligence, and local dynamics into strategic planning.
  • Equip Channel Partners with the tools, resources, and support needed to amplify reach and expand market presence.
  • Lead external event planning, messaging, and thought‑leadership opportunities that reinforce Xylem’s position in the industry.
  • Coordinate brand perception surveys and NPS activities to keep a finger on the pulse of market sentiment.
  • Collaborate with other Xylem segments to ensure a unified customer approach.
  • Research, test, and adopt emerging marketing practices, platforms, and channels‑closing gaps and uncovering new opportunities.

You’ll Work Closely With Regional Commercial Leaders, Central Transport Marketing, Finance, Purchasing, other Segment Marketing teams, plus an external ecosystem of agencies, associations, media partners, channel partners, contractors, and end users.

What You Bring
  • A Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or economics.
  • 5+ years of experience in hands‑on marketing roles‑ideally within the water industry or another technical B2B environment.
  • Deep understanding of the full marketing mix, from strategic planning to multi‑channel execution.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to turn technical content into engaging, accessible messaging.
  • Fluency across digital, print, social, and omnichannel communication.
  • Comfort with change and the ability to operate confidently in dynamic, fast‑paced environments.
