Wolseley UK is seeking an Area Account Manager to cover Surrey, Hampshire and Channel Islands. This field-based role involves driving sales, managing key accounts, and expanding market share across the territory. You will work with branch teams to deliver outstanding service while promoting digital trading solutions.

The position is full-time, permanent, and based on a 40-hour week, Monday to Friday, with a competitive salary and company car/allowance plus bonus and benefits.

• Proven experience in account management, business development, or field sales.
• Strong track record of winning new business and growing customer accounts.
• Excellent communication, relationship-building and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Driving sales and margin growth across your designated territory through proactive business development and account management.
• Winning new customers while identifying opportunities to grow spend within existing accounts.
• Building strong relationships with customer decision-makers through regular face-to-face engagement.
• Working closely with branch teams to maximise sales opportunities and deliver outstanding customer service.
• Promoting digital trading solutions and using market insights to increase customer engagement and grow market share.
