Position Title: Regional Director of Business Development

Reports to: Director of Sales, EMEA

Location: UK (Crawley) or EU (Remote)

Position Summary

We are seeking an accomplished and strategically minded sales leader to drive commercial growth across Europe. As an emerging innovator in medical device technology, we are bringing a new and highly sophisticated solution to market. One that requires a commercially astute leader capable of building momentum, cultivating opportunity, and elevating our presence in a competitive healthcare landscape.

This is a highly engaged, hands‑on leadership role. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining and executing the European sales strategy, building strong relationships with key healthcare stakeholders, and establishing a foundation for long‑term commercial success. The role requires a blend of strategic vision, commercial discipline, and the ability to influence decision‑makers at all levels.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive European sales strategy to accelerate adoption of a new-to-market medical device.
  • Deliver sustained revenue growth by identifying, engaging, and closing high-value opportunities with major healthcare networks, hospitals, and radiation oncology providers.
  • Onboard and manage distributors.
  • Build and manage a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities, ensuring precise forecasting and consistent execution across all stages of the sales process.
  • Collaborate closely with Marketing to strengthen lead generation, optimise demand‑creation activities, and support the delivery of integrated commercial campaigns.
  • Represent Leo Cancer Care at key industry events, conferences, and trade shows to enhance market visibility and advance commercial objectives.
  • Provide timely and actionable market intelligence to inform pricing strategies, competitive positioning, and strategic decision‑making.
  • Work cross‑functionally with Product and Marketing teams to ensure customer insights directly influence product development and market alignment.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of the company’s portfolio, competitive offerings, and evolving market dynamics.
  • Deliver clear, data‑driven sales reports, forecasts, and performance updates to the Director of Sales, EMEA.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, professional excellence, and customer success across the European sales organisation.
Education, Experience, and Competencies

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required.

Ideally 5+ years of direct experience in Radiation Oncology Sales with a strong record of achievement; candidates with relevant transferrable commercial experience will also be considered.

Demonstrated experience managing distributor relationships and supporting partner‑led commercial activities.

Strong communication and presentation abilities, with the capability to influence clinical, operational, and executive stakeholders.

Highly developed interpersonal skills, commercial judgement, and strategic problem‑solving abilities.

Fluency in written and spoken English required; additional European languages are highly desirable.
