Job description
Mission

Support the zone Management, Business, GSC and Function Leaders and employees in the deployment and effective implementation of the Group Compliance Program aligned with the risks identified in the Zone.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure Group compliance policies, standards, and processes are effectively implemented within the regional regulatory context, adapting them as needed for local laws, in collaboration with Zone Legal team and Human Resources.
  • Manage compliance process related requests (Gifts & Hospitality, Conflict of Interest, third party screening flags…) and monitor process effectiveness.
  • Lead the local compliance risk assessment process: identify, assess, and mitigate local compliance risks in alignment with the Group framework; define, assign (when needed)/deploy the related actions plan.
  • Ensure a Zone Compliance Committee is in place to review compliance strategy, monitor risks, and facilitate cross‑functional collaboration.
  • Manage end‑to‑end process related to the Schneider Electric Whistleblowing system for the zone in collaboration with the Group Operational Compliance Committee, Fraud Examination Team, HR Investigators, and Legal Team.
  • Conduct training sessions to raise awareness of compliance risks, the compliance program and obligations among employees, fostering a culture of integrity and accountability.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to local leadership, providing guidance on interpreting Group compliance policies and local regulations.
  • Ensure proactive monitoring of legislative and regulatory changes within the relevant geographic area.
  • Analyse the impact of new provisions on internal policies and procedures.
  • Propose adjustments or action plans (including to Group compliance program team) to maintain continuous compliance.
  • Inform and advise local stakeholders on relevant regulatory changes.
  • Support auditors during the internal audits conducted in your zone.

Education
  • Experience within a large multinational corporation in Ethics & Compliance areas (at least 8 years).
  • Experience in dealing with compliance issues, such as anti‑corruption regulations (e.g., UK Bribery Act), anti‑fraud, ethics & HR matters (e.g. Modern Slavery Act, Equality Act).
  • Relevant education or external accreditation in the areas of compliance, legal, audit, quality or risk management.
