Job summary

Hartford Care Limited is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to be the first contact for families enquiring about our Homes. You will guide families from the initial call, tours, to assessments and moving in, while working with care teams to keep occupancy high.

You'll build relationships with healthcare professionals and community organisations, generate referrals, and contribute to a sales and marketing plan for each site to maximise occupancy and revenue.

• Genuine interest in elderly care.
• Self-motivated, target driven and able to work on your own initiative.
• Clear communication at all levels by phone, in person and email.
• Attention to detail and professional presentation.
• Willingness to travel to referral sources and Hartford Care Homes.

Responsibilities

• Manage enquiries from first contact through to move-in day, including weekends and out-of-hours follow-up.
• Show families around the Home and build trusting relationships by understanding needs and concerns.
• Sell Nursing, Residential and Dementia services to local authority funded and private clients.
• Generate referrals from Social Services, Discharge Co-ordinators, District Nurses, Psychiatrists, GPs and Consultants.
• Build links with community organisations (Alzheimer's Society, NAPA, Age UK, solicitors, IFAs).
• Build relationships with regulators and commissioning bodies.
• Keep enquiries database up to date and manage the pipeline of potential residents.
• Oversee move-in process with care teams to ensure a smooth transition.
• Improve average weekly fees by negotiating top-ups and growing self-funders; secure Home Administration Fee.
