Job summary

A dedicated charity organization in Grimsby is seeking a Recovery Coordinator to provide essential support to individuals affected by drug and alcohol misuse. This full-time role involves working within a multidisciplinary team to manage caseloads, conduct assessments, and deliver tailored interventions. Ideal candidates will have experience in addiction recovery, capable of developing recovery plans and liaising with various support services. Qualifications

  • Previous experience in substance misuse, addiction recovery, or similar field.
  • Confident in case management and delivering recovery-focused interventions.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of safeguarding protocols and local referral pathways.
  • A relevant qualification is desirable.

  • Managing a caseload of service users with varying substance misuse issues.
  • Completing comprehensive assessments and risk management plans.
  • Delivering 1:1 keywork sessions and structured interventions.
  • Liaising with clinical, criminal justice, and housing services.
  • Supporting service users in developing recovery plans.

Recovery Coordinator - Grimsby

Location: Grimsby

Hours: Full-time (Monday to Friday)

Rate: £18.00 - £20.00

Contract: Initial 3-6 month contract with potential extension

Setting: Private Charity

We're currently recruiting for a dedicated Recovery Coordinator to join a well-established private charity in Grimsby, providing vital support to individuals affected by drug and alcohol misuse.

You'll be working as part of a passionate multidisciplinary team to support service users on their recovery journey, using a person-centred approach that promotes independence, harm reduction, and sustained change.

Responsibilities
  • Managing a caseload of service users with varying substance misuse issues
  • Completing comprehensive assessments and risk management plans
  • Delivering 1:1 keywork sessions and structured interventions
  • Liaising with clinical, criminal justice, and housing services as part of multi-agency support
  • Supporting service users in developing recovery plans and achieving meaningful outcomes
Ideal candidate
  • Previous experience in substance misuse, addiction recovery, or a similar field
  • Confident in case management and delivering recovery-focused interventions
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
