Job summary

Change Grow Live in the United Kingdom is seeking a Recovery Coordinator to assess and engage with service users, ensuring access to the right interventions at the right time. You will work as part of the Entry into Service team based in Nuneaton, delivering group and individual support to promote recovery and wellbeing.

The role is 30 hours per week (part-time) with a permanent contract. You will respond to evolving needs, advocate for service users, and collaborate with partner services to

Qualifications

• Have a strong understanding of substance misuse issues and experience of working within a similar field.
• Experience of working with groups/pods and managing group dynamics.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with good IT skills.
• Proactive and able to work on own initiative with strong time management and prioritising skills.
• Good working knowledge of mental health interventions and good practice.
• Be a supportive team player with strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with a wide range of professionals.

Responsibilities

• Support service users from point of entry into the service and through their treatment/recovery journey.
• Provide screening, assessment, and recovery planning and onward referral.
• Reduce drug and alcohol related harm to service users and the wider community.
• Promote carer, service user and community involvement.
• Provide advocacy for access to partnership services.
• Work with service users to support social reintegration and recovery goals.
• Design and deliver group content and workshops tailored to service users’ needs.
