Role Overview

As a Reception Team Member, you will be the “face” of F1 Arcade for many of our guests. Your role involves greeting visitors, checking them in, managing bookings/reservations, handling payments, and helping ensure every visitor has a smooth, fun, and memorable visit. The ideal candidate is friendly, energetic, organised, and thrives in a fast‑paced hospitality environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet and welcome all guests as they arrive — provide a warm, enthusiastic, and professional first impression.
  • Handle check‑ins and check‑outs: process bookings or walk‑ins, allocate sessions or tables, extend bookings if needed.
  • Manage phone and online enquiries: answer calls or messages, respond to questions about availability, booking, pricing, and services.
  • Provide guests with clear information about their experience (e.g. explanation of simulator “driver profiles”, need for QR codes or safety/introduction procedures).
  • Process payments accurately, record sales, handle cash/card transactions, and reconcile receipts if required.
  • Liaise with kitchen, bar, or other venue teams (if applicable) to ensure timely service for food & drinks, and coordinate any pre‑orders or special requests.
  • Maintain a clean, tidy, and welcoming reception and entrance area; uphold venue standards of hygiene, safety, and presentation at all times.
  • Be attentive to guest needs, handle any guest concerns or issues during their visit with professionalism, and escalates to Duty/Reception Manager when necessary.
  • Assist with bookings, walk‑ups, group bookings or corporate events as needed — ensuring smooth guest flow even during busy periods.
  • Attend team meetings and training sessions; contribute positively to the team environment and support colleagues when needed.
