Vets Now is seeking a Part Time Veterinary Receptionist in the Portsmouth area to act as the friendly first point of contact for clients during emergencies. You will manage calls, greeting clients and processing payments, while coordinating with the veterinary team for patient updates.

The role includes varied hours, with shifts in the evenings and weekends, plus paid leave and additional staff benefits. Training and support are provided to join a compassionate team dedicated to animal welfare.

Role Overview

• Be the face of Emergency and Critical Care services:
  • Receptionists are the first point of contact during emergencies, handling calls, greeting clients, and managing financial transactions.
• Provide updates:
  • Relay information to the veterinary team about patients enroute to the clinic or clients in need of assistance.
• Handle administration duties:
  • Perform administrative tasks accurately.

Working pattern

Week 1: Thursday and Friday from 19:00 to 23:30, Saturday from 18:00 to 22:00 and Sunday from 14:30 to 2:00

Week 2: Sunday from 09:00 to 19:00

Week 3: Off

Week 4: Friday from 19:00 to 23:00
