Vets Now Stirling is seeking a Part Time Veterinary Receptionist to join our after-hours team. You will be the first point of contact for clients in emergencies, handle calls and bookings, and provide welcoming, professional support to pet owners and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities

• First point of contact:
  • Serve as an initial point of contact for clients during emergency situations, whether through calls or in person visits. Including greeting all clients, answering calls, and booking appointments as well as handling financial transactions.
• Administration:
  • Manage administrative duties in clinic accurately, ensuring the smooth operation of the service.
  • Providing updates to veterinary staff about patients enroute or clients requiring assistance.
• Client Support:
  • Be a friendly and reassuring presence, offering support and information when clients need it most.
  • Act as a liaison between clients and veterinary professionals.

Working pattern

Role 1

Week 1: Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 18:00 to 23:00 and Sunday from 09:30 to 18:00

Week 2: Thursday and Friday from 18:00 to 23:00

Plus, a fair share of bank holidays.
