Vets Now is seeking a Weekend Veterinary Receptionist for our Chesterfield clinic. You will be the first point of contact for clients in emergencies, greeting visitors, answering calls, booking appointments, and processing payments.

You will also handle administrative tasks and communicate updates to the veterinary team. The role emphasizes friendly, empathetic client support and seamless liaison between clients and veterinary professionals, with weekend shifts included.

Key Responsibilities

• First point of contact:
  • Serve as an initial point of contact for clients during emergency situations, whether through calls or in person visits. Including greeting all clients, answering calls, and booking appointments as well as handling financial transactions.
• Administration:
  • Manage administrative duties in clinic accurately, ensuring the smooth operation of the service.
  • Providing updates to veterinary staff about patients enroute or clients requiring assistance.
• Client Support:
  • Be a friendly and reassuring presence, offering support and information when clients need it most.
  • Act as a liaison between clients and veterinary professionals.

Working pattern

2 out of 3 weekends working Saturday from 12:00 to 17:00 and Sunday from 08:00 to 17:00
