20 hrs per week – Tuesday to Friday, 5 hrs per day

Overview

We make health happen. Richmond Villages, a Bupa retirement village provider, delivers person‑centred care that supports independence and honours choice, helping residents live their best lives. Responsibilities
  • Provide a warm welcome to visitors, ensuring they sign in and refreshments are offered.
  • Answer incoming calls, direct calls appropriately, and relay messages.
  • Deal with queries from residents and report as required.
  • Receive money from residents and families, provide receipts, and confirm payments.
  • Keep the display information board up to date.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing post, ensuring correspondence is dealt with promptly and outstanding items are reported to the Administrator.
  • Make bookings and update records such as restaurant bookings, maintenance and transport requests.
  • Maintain and report any issues with office equipment or make call‑outs.
  • Maintain and update records such as master copy forms, room status reports and the village residents list.
  • Additional tasks within the Finance & Administration Team.
Key Skills / Qualifications

With strong communication skills and an excellent telephone manner, you will have experience of using a telephone switchboard and be competent using Microsoft Office. Excellent attention to detail and time‑management skills, working well within a team and on your own initiative. Experience of working on a reception or in a care home environment would be advantageous.

Because we care for vulnerable people, we will need you to complete a DBS check as part of the recruitment process. Bupa will cover the cost (£40).
