Qualifications

  • Experience in an Early Years setting is highly preferred.
  • Knowledge of the EYFS framework and Reception curriculum is essential.
  • Calm, patient, and effective in a team setting.

Responsibilities

  • Support a small group of Reception-aged children with a range of SEN.
  • Provide targeted support during continuous provision and play-based learning.
  • Work within The Cabin, the school's dedicated SEN provision.

Skills

Experience supporting children within a school, nursery or Early Years setting
Confident supporting children with ASD, SLCN, delayed communication or sensory needs
Able to deliver 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with identified SEN
Understanding of sensory regulation strategies and therapeutic approaches

Education

Holds TA qualifications or a relevant degree
