Job Title

Receptionist / Admin Assistant – required November 2025.

Hours & Contract
  • Permanent contract, 16 hours per week (2 days) – Monday and Tuesday 8:00am-4:30pm.
  • Term time only plus inset days, plus 2 days during the summer holiday (exam results days).
  • Grade 3 – pro‑rata salary £9,632–£9,941 per week.
  • Monthly salary £25,583 – £26,403.

Norton Hill School, Midsomer Norton – part of the Midsomer Norton Schools Partnership.

Role Summary
  • Act as the first point of contact for enquiries from parents, staff and pupils.
  • Provide exceptional administrative support and maintain front‑desk operations.
  • Utilise strong ICT skills to manage enquiries, scheduling and record keeping.
  • Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Solid administrative background and proven experience in an office environment.
  • Excellent ICT skills – proficient in office software and electronic communication.
