About the role

We are seeking an experienced Associate with at least 4 years’ PQE to join our Cardiff-based Real Estate Finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a talented solicitor to work on a broad range of challenging and high-profile property finance matters, acting for leading lenders and borrowers in the UK.

Key responsibilities
  • Advising lenders and borrowers on a wide range of real estate finance transactions.
  • Drafting and negotiating facility agreements, security documents, and related transactional documents.
  • Managing and progressing property finance transactions from instruction through to completion.
  • Supporting senior team members on complex, high-value deals while managing your own caseload.
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships, providing commercial and pragmatic advice.
  • Collaborating closely with colleagues across the firm to deliver a seamless service to clients.
About you
  • Qualified solicitor with a minimum of 4 years’ PQE.
  • Strong transactional real estate experience gained within a well-regarded commercial property team.
  • Prior exposure to real estate finance matters is essential.
  • Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Strong commercial awareness with the ability to provide practical, solution-driven advice.
  • A collaborative team player with a proactive approach to client development and service delivery.
