Job summary

Experis is seeking a Cisco Telephony & Video Conferencing Team Lead to drive and deliver advanced voice and video collaboration services on-site in Stevenage. The role is contract-based until 31 December 2027, requiring active SC clearance and sole UK national status.

You will lead a local team, manage incidents, and partner with vendors on complex Telephony/VC initiatives. The position demands extensive experience with Cisco CUCM, Jabber, Unity, CMS/Expressways, and room endpoints, with a focus

Qualifications

• Hands-on Cisco video conferencing (CMS, Expressways, B2B, MRA).
• Advanced Cisco telephony knowledge (CUCM, Unity, Jabber).
• Strong understanding of licensing models & certificates.

Responsibilities

• Resolve Level 2 Telephony / Video Conferencing incidents.
• Support hardware or application troubleshooting.
• Respond to customer escalations.
• Participate in Telephony / Videoconferencing projects.
• Assist operations on an ad hoc basis.
• Ensure the integrity of the Telephony/VC infrastructure.
• Manage the local team and share skills.
• Handle vendor and L3 escalations when needed.

Role Title: Cisco Telephony & Video Conferencing Team Lead

Duration: contract to run until 31/12/2027

Location: Stevenage, Hertfordshire. Fully onsite, 5 days per week

Clearance required: Active SC Clearance and Sole UK National

• Advanced knowledge & Hands on Cisco video conferencing (CMS, Expressways, B2B, MRA)
• Advanced knowledge & Hands on Cisco VC Endpoints different models (Room, SX,personal, EQ , Webex & Board series)
• Advanced knowledge & Hands on room peripherals (room navigators,barco, Displays)
• Advanced knowledge of video codecs & Encryption algorithms
• Advanced knowledge of Cisco Telephony (CUCM, Unity Connection, Jabber, Cisco SBS, TRP)
• Good knowledge of licensing models & certificates.
• Good knowledge of SIP/H323 protocols, security as well as system administration.
• Knowledge of VMware
• Team Management/ People Skills....etc

Responsibilities:
