Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Service Advisor within the automotive industry.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Confident working within a busy dealership environment.
• Ability to build rapport quickly with customers.
• Commercially aware with confidence upselling additional products and services.
• Strong organisation and administration skills.
• Experience using Kerridge / ADP or similar dealer management systems would be advantageous.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a busy Aftersales team.
• Genuine interest in the automotive industry.

Responsibilities

• Booking vehicles in for MOTs, servicing, maintenance and repairs.
• Meeting and greeting customers and providing an excellent customer experience.
• Keeping customers regularly updated while their vehicle is in the workshop.
• Advising customers on warranty coverage.
• Identifying and upselling additional work, parts and accessories.
• Liaising with technicians and the wider Aftersales department.
• Organising workshop appointments around workload and availability.
• Managing a high volume of customers, telephone calls and online enquiries.
• Explaining technical information clearly and professionally to customers.

Monday to Friday 8-6, 1 in 3 saturday mornings, 1 early finish per week

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Service Advisor to join a busy and successful premium main dealership in Shrewsbury.

Service Advisor Role As a Service Advisor, your responsibilities will include:
